Wall Mural, October 2018

As a member of Ficci Flo, Bengaluru Chapter, under our chairperson Yashodhara Khaitan Shroff, with Robin Hood Army volunteers and students from Acharya college, I conceptualized and led the team to painted a mural wall for under privileged children in Domlur, Bangalore. First we cleaned up the slum area and made an area where the slum children would have classes every Sunday. We encouraged the children to paint with us and be a part of this project as they put their handprints into this mural so they would connect and be proud of this area and come to study here. We brought smiles to their faces and helped improve and beautify this area. The plan was to motivate the children to join hands in keeping our environment clean and beautiful.

Concept

One should not under estimate the power of the sun, we need nature, without which we will have no life on earth. We need to love and protect our Earth. Each child has their handprint on this painting, making them a part of it. Colour brings happiness and represents our vibrant India.
